Embedding Sustainability into Project Delivery: Practical Lessons from a Real-world Housing Project

Hello, my name is Manisha Lathgupta and I'm the founder of Ananda Permaculture Project.

Ananda is a permaculture initiative based out of North India.

I'm going to be talking about how we've embedded sustainability into project delivery and sharing my lessons from a real-world housing project, basically the house that we've built at Ananda, using natural materials like earth, lime, and stone.

The idea is to transcend the concepts of permaculture ethics as well as the triple bottom line and demonstrate how one can build something which is sustainable, uses minimal resources, has low energy consumption, is non-toxic, and self-sufficient.

So we've done a very exciting 20-month long project and that's what I'm going to be talking about when we meet at the summit.

I look forward to seeing you all there.
