Hi, my name is Hebe and I'm from North London. I'm going to be answering the question, what is Opiner?
Opiner is, at the very core, a market research company. But it's more interesting and a bit more complex than that. Whereas traditional market research might be done via surveys or phone calls or emails or any other kind of way of using technology, as well as asking customers to give feedback, Opiner provides a much more human way for companies, groups of people or their clients in general to gain information about a question that's important to them in a human way.
The market research comes from the three groups of expertise that Opiner has gathered. So there's my level, which is the street, and we are kind of the simple responders. And then there are two levels above that, where Opiner's community can provide in-depth expertise which comes from long careers, educational study and other sources of information and expertise.
What I think is really brilliant about Opiner is that it gives companies a chance to gather information in, as I say, a human way. Surveys, I think, can often be impersonal and sometimes it can be difficult to design surveys in a way that is clear for the respondent and also gives the company the information they want. The Opiner way of doing things means that people can speak as they would normally speak and give the information they think is important. The three minute limit on the video means that people are forced to keep their messages short and it also means that the data remains digestible for companies to use.
So it seems like a really great platform, a way to sort of humanize and personalize market research, which involves people across the board, whether that's customers or the companies themselves.
A little side note that I think is a really great thing about Opiner is that they're also a socially minded company and while respondents do have the opportunity to be paid for their time and for their opinions, there's also the opportunity to donate your fee to charity, which means that you can do good while also helping out companies with their market research.
