WonderWall: Meet Our Speakers

Response Haikal

Haikal El Abed proposes shifting sustainability from intention to defensible project success by documenting decisions, trade-offs, and long-term value protection. The session will offer practical methods to embed sustainability into project reporting and operating systems rather than treating it as an end-stage add-on.

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, everyone. Hello, I'm Haikal El Abed and I am excited to join you at the Sustainability Summit 2026. In my session, we will explore one important question. How do we move sustainability from good intention to defensible project success? Because today, it is no longer enough to say that the project is sustainable. We need to show how decisions were made, what trade-offs were considered, and how value was protected over time. I will share some practical ways to make sustainability part of the project reporting and project operating system, not as an additional layer added at the end of the project. I look forward to seeing you at the Sustainability Summit 2026. Let us make sustainability the default of our project.
